Do I need experience to participate in the course?
No, not at all! Our courses is designed for beginners and those with limited makeup experience as well as more experienced artists looking to further their skills. Classes are small and intimate and therefore are easily tailored to individual student abilities.
Why are the classes 3 hours in duration? It seems really long!
In order to fit in both a demo and time for practical application classes go for 3 hours. Practical applications will often involve practicing on other students in the class. Students will pair up and practice on each other. This means students do not need to bring a model each week. Students are however required to bring a model for weeks 8 and 10.
What products will I be using?
Students have full access to a huge range of provided products to use during classes. If they have purchased a kit with their enrolment fee they will also receive an amazing starter kit hand picked with all of Eliza's must have products and Glam Theory Cosmetics brushes. For more info of what is provided in the Kit, request a Course Information Handbook.
What happens if I miss a class?
If illness or unforeseen circumstances occur let Eliza know as far in advance as possible. It is important that class absences are made known to Eliza at least 12 hours prior to class as classes are specifically designed with even numbers so everyone has a partner to work on. Eliza does have a strict no attendance when sick policy as all students will be working in such close proximity with one another.
Are there any age requirements for the course?
In order to get the best out of the program we recommend students be of at least 15 years of age. In the past we have had students aged from 13 to 65!
Whereabouts are the classes held?
Our campus is located inside Glam Theory Studios at 123 Canterbury Road, Heathmont in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs.
